Look at these people trying Look at these people crying Look at these people dying n'Still they keep on lying Can you handle it? misinformation drive it into the ground don't matter what's been said don't matter what's up or down when you get you view where you get your news you're bubblin' up yourself when you like to complicate things and blame it on someone else Gonna root that mountain down gonna root it down It feels like the end of the world But it's not the end of the world But it's the end of the line for you! Money flowing like a fountain Follow money up the mountain Are you strong enough to climb? Can you cover up the crime? Can you handle it? misinformation drive it into the ground don't matter what's been said don't matter what's up or down when you get you view where you get your news you're bubblin' up yourself when you like to complicate things and blame it on someone else Gonna root that mountain down gonna root it down It feels like the end of the world But it's not the end of the world But it's the end of the line for you!

This world with all these problems, how do we solve them? Jerks using teenage kids, how do we stop them? Cops killing peaceful folk, how do we stop them? This world with all these problems, how do we solve them?

about

These songs were recorded over a period of 5 weeks in a blind round robin collaborative fashion.

During week 1, each participant created some music that would provide some sort of basic track for a song.

During week 2 these beginnings of 5 new songs would change hands, and each of the participants would overdub new parts onto a track they had never heard before.

During weeks 3 - 5 this process would continue until each of the 5 contributors had chance to add music to each of the 5 songs. During the process they had no prior knowledge of the song they were receiving, nor any knowledge of what would happen after they passed it on.

At the end of 5 weeks the song they had begun in the first week came back to them to create a final mix, in some cases adding final parts to "finish them off".

Thank you to my friends for being willing to participate in this idea with me.
I think it turned out much better than I had hoped and I am proud to present what I hope is the first of many more Round Robin Recording Games.

And a huge special thanks to Patrick Haight for mastering these tracks.
