Berthwerm's first cassette release as a trio, and first attempt at making an "album", we re-did a couple of songs from the first tape with Greg singing and in the case of Happy Dog, a complete rewrite of the lyrics and melody.
At this point we were getting into the nascent grunge scene and bands like Meat Puppets in addition to our classic rock influence. Dan loved Sex Pistols and Led Zeppelin, Greg was really into SRV, and I was into the a lot of hippie stuff like Dylan & the Dead.But "alternative" was starting to find it's way into Waukesha and we dug Pixies, Mudhoney, Sonic Youth, Dino Jr, et al before "punk broke" after we graduated High School.
